avoid the road reflectors
When I have to change lanes while driving, I carefully time my lane change so as not to drive over the reflectors on the center lane. I have a physiological reaction of delight when I succeed at this.

Yup, it’s a game for my friends and I as well.
Plus, when I’m riding alone, I feel so accomplished! :]
I thought I was the only one…
Oh, me too. : D
Me too. How relieving.
I try to do so the same, I have been practicing at a speed bump two blocks from my house to time it so the car’s weight falls into the downward slope of the bump to make the transition the smoothest as well.
When I was a kid, it used to be a lawnmower on the end of a long pole, and I would cut the grass or mow down bushes on the side of the road. If there was a telephone pole, the lawnmower would retract inside the car. I still do it sometimes, if I’m a passenger.
Oh….My….God…. I thought I was the only one!
Yeah, me too. I thought it was normal?
Me too.
I’m the opposite! I love it when I go over reflectors. I feel so unsatisfied if I’m expecting to get one and fail.
Thats awesome! lol
I’m not alone.
I also do that <3
I was totally thinking of submitting this, too. Glad to know I’m not the only one
i do it too.
I spent many long cars trips imagining myself riding a dirt bike, or a dune buggy, or many other kinds of vehicles, along the terrain next to the highway. Finding the right path for these things at 60-70 mph was part of the challenge.
Yes!! Except I wasn’t riding the thing, it was a mini-spaceship thing or sometimes just teh path.
My friends and I always did this in high school, we made a game out of it when we were all in the same car, cheering loudly when it was done successfully. Sometimes we would switch lanes for just that purpose. I still get excited when i switch lanes without touching a reflector
Me too, I like the game of missing the reflectors. I feel happy when I don’t hit the bumps.
Me too, only I though it was normal…
We called this a “jedi” in high school when completed successfully..
