mom, dad, mom
when i go to bed at night, i have to say goodnight to my mom twice, and my dad once. i go “goodnight mom, goodnight dad, goodnight mom” even if mom is downstairs and can’t hear me or some times i have to scream it.

haha i love that..i feel like i used to do that maybe in another life or something. good night mom dad mom!!
What a nice picture to paint. Ahhh. “GOODNIGHT MAAAA!!! Ma? You friggin’ hear me!? MA! I said goodnight! GOOD – NIGHT!!! Stop talking to nana on the phone! MA!” What bliss.
the third time’s the charm
that probably makes your dad feel bad!!!
While laying in bed before she goes to sleep, my mom always has to say, “I love you (insert name), I love you (insert next name) etc.” to my dad, me, and our cats (in order). and make three kissy noises in the dark.
when i was younger i would always say “goodnight mom, goodnight dad, goodnight dad, goodnight mom” just to make sure that neither was sad for not having their name said first
yeah when i was younger, whenever someone came in my room to say goodnight, the last thing i always had to say was ‘night night’. I dont anymore but i used to have to everynight!
p.s i love karim’s comment!!
When I was little I always had to say, in this order, “Good night, Sleep Tight, I love you.” to both my parents. And it would bug me if i ever for got to do that.
ha, yeah, whenever i was little i would say “good night, sleep tight, i love you” too, and if my parents didnt say anything after that i would always be really bothered cuz i wasnt sure if i should say it again cuz they didnt hear it or if it would just bother them , and i would just lay there pondering
Your poor dad.
When I was little, I would tell my mother “Good night, love you, see you in the morning” as fast as I could. It was usually a competition between us to see who could say it [or finish saying it] first after bed-time was announced.
Very cute, but like almost all of these here on the site it’s technically in the realm of mental illness.
I always have to say the last bye I love you when I am on the phone with my mom. The sad part is she does too.
I can totally relate!!
Except I need to say “Good night, love you, see you in the morning” To my mom every night.
I do that too because mum is better than dad. XD
