triangles taste better
I can’t eat a sandwich if it is cut any way besides diagonally. When I go to Arby’s (or any other place that typically cuts sandwiches vertically) I specifically ask that they cut the sandwich diagonally. (I also apologize profusely when this happens.)

Triangles taste much better. Especially when you have 4 triangles, it makes me believe I have more food.
Same! With subs, i just have to have that diagonal cut even if it is not a triangle. It’s the only way to eat a sandwich.

A sandwich cut on the diagonal makes so much sense…it gives you a starting place to bite!
I’m similar but for it depends on the filling for example if I have a chicken, ham or cheese sandwich it as to be cut into triangle cus it tastes better but if its a crisp sandwhich it has to be cut up into squares and if its a tuna sandwhich it has to be rectangles.
Chips are the same way for me too. I realized triangles were better when my mom accidentally bought two bags of the same brand tortilla chip, except one bag had rectangular chips and one bag had triangles. The triangles tasted waaaay better!
I have to eat my sandwiches with the “sail boat” cut too! I don’t like the edges touching my face. I have to compulsively wipe my face after eating also just incase
