i am neurotic.

Every time i see anything rainbowish, i have to look for the Roy G. Biv pattern.

When I am taking nails from my nail pouch, sometimes I have to put one down for one reason or another. If I start to work again, picking out a new nail from the nail pouch, then see the one that I had put down, I feel bad for it, and make the new one wait in line, so I can use the old one first.

Every time I go through a green light, I thank it for being green. I feel like they have to deal with so much road rage, a simple ‘thank you’ might make them feel better.

Whenever I shower, I MUST shave my armpits in four (4) different directions, EVERY TIME. First down, then up, left, then right. I can’t help myself,

I’m neurotic about my eye sight. I always think I’m going blind. Today, I started freaking out because my eyesight was so blurry. Then I remembered I didn’t have my glasses on.

i have to enter my shower from one side of the certain and exit it from the opposite. it makes me feel washed of all the bad stuff.

Turning pages in books. I rub my fingers far too hard against the pages to make sure that I’m not accidentally turning two at the same time. What if I didn’t notice and the story suddenly didn’t make sense? Then I would have to go back a re-read, and then it would get to that weird point where I’m just reading letters and words and sentences, rather than thoughts or ideas. And I can’t stand that.

every time i fly, i MUST be reading something during take-off and landing. if not, the plane will crash and/or explode into a fiery ball of destruction, killing all onboard. so therefore, i read as a public safety service.

I cannot touch food that is cold if it is supposed to be hot. If I am reheating something, I have to ask someone else to put their finger in it to see if its hot because I’m scared that if i touch it, it will still be cold. I also can’t eat things like macaroni salad, because noodles are meant to be hot, not cold.

Whenever I play a Mario game or a videogame where you collect coins or gems, I have to get ALL of the coins, and if I leave some, I leave an even number of coins, because I don’t want to leave one of the coins alone forever
