cat barf residue
When my cat pukes or has a hairball, even if it’s been picked up already, I can’t walk or stand in the place the cat puked for a few hours because I feel like I’ll get hairball residue all over my feet or socks.

I like to keep the hairballs because I don’t want them to be treated any differently than I do my loving kitty.

If my dog or cat pukes or makes a poopie on the floor, I avoid that spot altogether for weeks, nay months on end. It just feels weird to me & I’m afraid that stuff is still gonna get on my feet.

This strikes me as normal. Cat barf, or regurgitated cat fur, or whatever is really very disgusting.
I never pick it up and either wait for someone else to pick it up or for my cat to eat it. Yumm.
