not so nuts for nuts
When I was little, I was eating these nuts, but later when i had eaten almost the entire nut bag, we found out these little grubs had been eating them first. Of course i threw up all that hadn’t been digested yet, but from that day forward I never ate a nut. I hate eating foods cooked with nuts, and I can eat peanut oil or stuff like that, but I cannot eat the actual nut when it is in it’s actual and true form.

EW! That actually happened to me once with a box of noodles I bought. It was sooo nasty. The little larvae were just swimming in the pot.
I don’t think that’s so much a neurosis as a reaction to something bad happening. If it happened to me, I wouldn’t eat nuts either…
sunflower seeds! i cant eat a sunflower seed that has been opened or has a hole or is darker than the others…all because of those little worms that get in there. they get all roasted in their sunflower seed coffins…
