if it’s raining outside and i have the windshield wipers on, i have to turn off the car exactly when the windshield wipers hit the bottom of the window. if i mess up and the wipers are still in the wiping position, i have to turn on my car and try again.

Or you could just shut off the wipers.
i shut mine off. one time i left mine half up all day while i was at work and when i left, they were broken. i had to spend $300 to fix them so i am now convinced that if i leave them on before i turn my car off they will break. maybe you should do the same.
I do it as well.
I do too, I feel the car will look “ugly” if I leave them half way.
the majority of wipers finish their cycle and return to the bottom of the screen when you turn them off
