When I see smooth or soft things, I get a strong urge to rub them on my lower lip. Freshly buffed nails, my dog’s ears, silk shirts, the back side of a cd, laminated book covers, the list goes on. I think that my lower lip is a better judge of softness/smoothness than my fingers.

I totally get it. I have this really soft piece of hair and I always rub it all over my lips. My mom says I look retarded
I have the exact same thing, ever since I was a kid, I had a silk nightie and I wouldnt wear it but bring it to bed to rub against my lip. Although in my case it’s the top lip and not the bottom!
My boyfriend does that! He has this one piece of plastic he keeps with him at all times that he is constantly rubbing against his bottom lip.
if i get a sparkling brand new bill from the atm i have to sniff it, rub it over my top lip and, if no one’s watching, lick it. i HAVE to.
i do that! i especially love doing it with buffed finger nails
I do that too.. it’s because there’s more nerves in your lips than your fingertips.

Can Definately Relate.. i do it with my nighty, buffed nails-yes! even my hair sometimes.. I find it quite theraputic =D
