i am neurotic.

you know that stuff that gets under your PC mouse out of nowhere? i have no idea what it is but i just always HAVE to clean it for no reason at all, just NEEEED to do it.

I always lick my lips and around when I’m eating as I’m scared I will walk around with crumbs of that food on my face.

i absolutely hate to have pine straw on my car. i will literally sit and pick it off my car before i go anywhere.

everyday when I get home from work I walk in and immediately pick up everything on the floor and have to vacuum (mostly kids toys). I will continue to vacuum until I can clearly see the lines in the carpet produced by the vacuum. Then I can sit down and relax.

When I was in grade school, I always had to brush my pencil erasings away and then blow them away to make sure they were all gone. I didn’t realize this was an issue until someone much older than me brushed their pencil erasings away in front of me but did not blow them away. I panicked and attempted to blow their pencil erasings away. They looked at me as though I had a second head.

I also cannot stand hairs on the bathroom tiles. Anytime I see any hairs I clean the floor. I usually wear flip flops or slippers to prevent any contamination. I’ll use wet wipes or I’ll scrub with windex and paper towel. I’m such a neat freak!

I buy a lot of movies. I have Goo Gone on top of my movie shelves to get off all sticker remnants before putting them in my collection. I also have extra cases, in case one is broken, I can switch it out.

I cannot clean unless I organize everything first. I put all the shoes in one pile, make up in another, clothes in another, so on and so forth. Then i can put everything thing away. Though during the process I have to reorganize the draw, shelf, or closet I am putting the object into before I put it away. Also every article of clothing I own has to be in color order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, gray, white, brown; and from light to dark per color.

I can’t stand when teachers miss marks while erasing the white board at school, so when class ends I walk to the board and erase the left over marks with my fingers.

I don’t dislike cleaning, but most of the time I’m too lazy to do it. However, whenever there’s a guest coming over, I become a clean-obsessed freak. I’ll clean EVERYTHING. But the weird thing is that I always work hardest on the things that don’t even matter. One time I spent 2 hours ironing all the bedskirts. They ended up getting covered by the comforter blankets.
