When I use plastic hangars for my clothes, their color has to match whatever is hanging on them, otherwise I’d just as soon leave them on the floor. Metal hangars are good for shirts, but tend to leave nearly-as-bad crease marks in pants.

When I eat colored candies (Skittles, M&Ms, etc.) I have to eat the red candies first because they’re my least favorite and I have to make sure the last candy in the bag isn’t red. Otherwise I have to get another bag so I can eat a “good” color and get the red taste out of my mouth.

Ever since I was little I have to make sure the Purple crayon isn’t next to the blue crayon. I thought that the blue and red crayon were in love and the purple was trying to steal blue away from red.

When I’m highlighting something, I have to use all 6 colours of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) in that order and make sure each colour has the same number of lines highlighted.

Every time I buy eggs from the supermarket, I have to go through the cartons and swap eggs until they’re all dark. I know there’s no difference in taste between dark and light eggs.

When I eat any sort of colourful candy, like M&Ms or jubes, I empty a few into my palm, and eat them according to colour. I eat the citrus coloured ones first, then backwards according to the rainbow, and then brown if it’s there.

It takes me months to find a replacement toothbrush. My problem is that they are all candy-colored, The toothbrush aisle may as well be a bag of skittles. Why can’t i get a nice surgical looking toothbrush that is ergonomically designed. Clear, white, even metal would be fine. I settle for a light blue or silver when I can find one. But they still always have the red bristles or something. It makes my teeth hurt thinking about it.

I have a keyboard that lights up in 3 different colors: blue, red, and purple. I turn on the light in different colors depending on the activity I’m doing on my computer. Blue is for work, because blue incites structure and focus. Red is for video games because red is strong and fills me with the kind of energy needed for video games. Purple is for anything involving art and purely for satisfaction purposes, because purple is calming and lets me know I am free to enjoy myself.

When I hang the washing out, the peg colours have to match the clothing colour. So a blue shirt would have the blue pegs. If there’s no matching colour then they get a colour that ‘goes’ well with them. So a yellow shirt would get the orange pegs. Oh and a male garment never gets the pink pegs and vice versa.

My colleges dining hall has different colored plates, and I can only eat off the orange ones. I am convinced that the food only tastes good on the orange ones. If the server tried to give me my food with a different colored plate I won’t eat it.
